I’ve had several years of experience caring for the elderly. I worked in a retirement home for a couple years doing their laundry and I also cared for the residents and loved it. I feel like I bring a sense of family when it comes to my care as I treat the patient as such. I provide in home care for the elderly and elderly disabled. I will provide the following care and tasks. They will vary from client to client: *Bathing; *Grooming, including oral care; *Assist the client with dressing and undressing; *Assist the client with toileting activities; *Feed clients who are unable to feed themselves; *Support good skin care to prevent skin breakdown (turn and reposition client, actively encourage movement); *Provide client with help walking and transferring; *Observe client's physical, mental and emotional conditions; *Assist client in the self-administration of medication (medication reminder); *Perform light housekeeping *Perform meal preparation and tidy up anything that needs it. I am very reliable and will always be available when needed.
