Kate’s Bio
Hello, my name is Kate and I am a paraprofessional with a concentration in care giving and companionship. My goal is to provide help with daily care and activities such as maintaining personal hygiene, taking medications, housekeeping, meal preparations, and doctors’ appointments. In addition to care giving responsibilities, I also specialize as a life coach and helping clients with developing and maintaining life satisfaction. Life satisfaction is vital to an individual’s health and involves his or her belief and ability to master the surrounding environment and feel a sense of control in life. A key factor in life satisfaction is happiness and positive emotions. Research and my personal experience has revealed that improved life satisfaction and positive emotions aid individual’s in achieving better mental health, successful coping, and improved physical health and longevity. In my 10 years as a life coach, I have seen many of my clients, who vary in age and ethnic backgrounds, grow and thrive personally and economically in a world that they had previously deemed miserable or despondent. I currently have a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology with a focus on lifespan development and positive psychology and are working towards a Master's Degree.
