I have worked in senior care for about six years. I have worked in a facility setting as well as home health. This field is where my heart is. I have begun studying geriatric care in college so I plan to broaden my knowledge even more. I have experience with transfers, IV infusion, feeding tubes, and Alzheimer's and dementia patients; along with all of the basic caregiving skills. I am able to transport client to medical appointments, assist with ADL's, provide conversation and companionship, as well as provide certain activities. I genuinely love working with seniors. There is a great satisfaction that comes from improving somebody's quality of life. Promoting independence and safety are among my top priorities.
