Hello my name is Pamela Carr I am from Columbia SC. I traveled the world as a military wife and now live in West Columbia SC. I graduated from A.C. flora High school and majored in Nursing Assistant at Lynn Haven Career Center while in high school. in 1976-1977 my first job was at Capital Convalescent in Columbia SC Nursing Assistant, from there George Town manor as a Certified Nursing, Bryan nursing home, Franciscan Nursing home, providence hospital CNA, Lexington medical center Nurse tech, Richland memorial hospital. I'm now with Caring Inc. as a caregiver. My reason for being a caregiver is that I am a people person and love the elderly. I'm qualified to monitor and record vital signs, adept at bathing and feeding residents, record intake and output, insert Foley Cather. I able to give compassionate care to clients and residents and provide first hand experience in assisting residents in transportation and ambulation. I also perform various housekeeping duties such as cleaning of care areas stocking and disposal of linen, accurate completion of patient summary sheet, dress bed sore, experience in tube feeding, measure height and weight, prepare meals, medications remainder, and report changes in patient behavior.
