I am 43yrs old. I have experience caring for the elderly with dementia. My grandma passed away a couple years ago. She had dementia. My mom and I took shifts in caring for her for 3 years. My mom took the night shift while I took the day shifts which included preparing meals, getting dressed, bathing, using bathroom ,giving medication, and entertaining her. We would talk, take walks, watch tv, play games, but our favorite was coloring. We would sit there for hours coloring in our coloring books. We both love to color. I miss her so much. I will always cherish every single moment we spent together.
