I have worked with children in many different settings. I was a preschool church teacher for a good year and a half. I organized the schedule and lesson each time. I also have personally babysat several children in my extended family and family's friends. I have worked with my youth group to orchestrate several events regarding children. So, I am really experienced with children in general. I have experience working in a nursing home where many residents are incontinent. I have also worked with babies. Therefore, I do know how to take care of a range of people, but especially children. I just have a heart for taking care of people in general. Also, I have worked at a local nursing home and realized I love working with the geriatric community. I have experience with feeding dependent residents, helping with hygienic care, helping with dressing, helping with transportation and transferring, and etc. I know how to assess specific situations and have had plenty of experience in taking care of multiple residents of all categories. I have worked with people who have had a variety of stages of dementia, people who are incontinent, and people who just need a little assistance.
