Hi! Thank you for looking at my profile. Right this minute I am rushing and will finish this part later.

Since I was 14/15 years old I was taking care of my great grandmother and then I started to take care of some of her friends in the 55+ community she was living in. My great grandmother(and a few of my other clients) had diabetes and used a sliding insulin scale. I would give them their shots, make lunch, help with getting dressed, medications, anything anyone needed, I was always right there to help. I’ve been a caregiver for 20+ years and am wanting to get my Associates or Bachelors in registered nursing so I can better support my daughter as well as help my clients in other ways that I am not able to without the RN title. I grew up with my grandparents friends as if they were my friends. I related more to them and it’s always easier to talk & have a great time! I apologize as this is quickly put together. * I’ve also worked at the Page Robbins Adult Day Care Center and am used to working with clients that live under the dementia umbrella. Art & music therapy are truly wonderful and can be life changing for those under that umbrella. :)
