I've worked in group homes for adults with mental illnesses and also with women in recovery for alcohol and/or drug addictions.

For about 5 years, I provided housecleaning, meal preparation and grocery shopping for an elderly client who was no longer able to do those things.

More recently, I've helped friends and family members during recovery for a variety of reasons: during chemo and after surgery; following an injury; and filling in while the regular caregiver was on vacation. Time frames for these services varied from 2 weeks to 7 months - whatever was needed.
