I have a BSN in nursing and have been working almost 30 years now. I have had jobs working with many senior patients. I do much better working one on one rather than a healthcare setting. I feel like caring for a patient one on one gives the patient much better care than in a healthcare setting. Plus it gives them someome to communicate with, because I know they have to be lonely and it gives them the chance to talk.
I have worked with many seniors, including dementia, diabetes and much more. I can do as much or as little that you need. I can bathe, dress, prepare meals, monitor medications and times. I can check sugar levels. The list goes on. I am a very happy go lucky person, dedicated, honest , hardworking and I also will tidy up the house, do laundry, change sheets.
