I have experience caring for children and elderly adults ranging from ages 6 months to 79 years old.

Throughout high school, I volunteered at an extended hours daycare/after school program where I was responsible for changing diapers, measuring out food servings for infants and toddlers and putting them to sleep before their parents picked them up. I also assisted with the planning/purchasing, preparation and serving of snacks and meals for school-aged children during extended hours; I also aided the director in creating unique activity programs for the after school program.

I also have experience with taking care of elderly adults. In high school, I cared for my aunt who was on hospice. I was responsible for preparing meals, bathing, doing laundry and administering medicine. I also a worked with the nurse on physical therapy during the home visits.

In college, I have watched over friend's apartments and looked after their cats. During my breaks in college, I would return home and looked after my 6 year old niece, picking her up from school, helping her with homework and providing small meals and snacks before her mother returned home.
