I am 35 years old. I have been married to my soul mate for 15 years we have one and only miracle he is 11 years old now.my love for being a cna comes from my daddy he lived a very hard life practically lived in hospitals and on dyalisis since I was five years old he was my whole world. I saw how one person could make him feel comfortable and feel like he wasn't a burrden to them.then there were ones who could make him just want to give up and just check out of the hospital and go home i realized one person could make a difference I started doing private sitting when I was 17 yrs.old I have worked at sewanee and Winchester hospital I have worked at assisted living facility I have also worked at the bridge for years with people who have alzhiermier dementia and with behaviours it was the most challenging but I loved it but it was getting to me physically and when it got to the point where I felt like i wasn't able to give my patients the time and care they needed because I would have up.to sometimes more than 20 patients a day I decided I couldn't do it I love what I do if I'm not able to do it and make a difference I didn't feel that I needed to be there I still visit my people just don't get paid for it no more I really put my heart into what I do.☺ I do have my CPR and CNA licence
