I became a caregiver at the age of 17 when my great grandfather became very sick and needed care. I would go to his house everyday to help with bathing, cleaning, cooking and even help change him when he became very incompetent. I loved what I done and I still love it. Everyone needs companionship, love and support. I have been a caregiver for 7 years now and love every moment of it! Having a relationship with the supported person means truly a lot to me.
