I have done respite care for parents of friends, my husband's grandmother, and my grandparents.

I can help call/organize appointments, mail, bills, grocery shopping, house cleaning, small projects of organizing/tidying. I can help prepare meals, get them safely to and from different rooms in the bathroom (or outside the home), and keep them company while encouraging them to do things they enjoy.

I have a Honda Odyssey and can take them to/from appointments, church, the grocery store, to pick up prescriptions, etc.

I have a particular heart for helping people, but realized while helping my mom with my elderly grandparents out of town, that I could be helpful right here in my own town.

I have a fairly flexible schedule, but do enjoy routine when possible.
