I began a career of serving others in bilingual (English and Spanish), mission churches and then in Early Childhood Centers. I regularly participated in required and optional trainings as a caregiver for young children. Unfortunately, a job injury left me unable to lift heavy objects for at least a year, but it didn't diminish my desire to care for others with the love of Christ. My experience and training for almost 30 years have shown me that the most important thing in caregiving is a Christlike relationship, no matter what the age.
