Every summer since I was seventeen I have had the chance to work as a day care worker for the "After School Program" at Parsons Elementary school. This program allows parents to give their kids a safe place to go while they are at work. At first i just worked summers, but now that I've graduated from High School, I now work there all year around. With this being said, I am excellent with kids. I love working with children because there is never a dull moment and i believe there is always something to learn from them. I on average work with forty kids a day ranging from the ages of 4-14, but i also have experience with baby's and toddlers. Additionally, I have some knowledge on working with kids with mental disabilities and other handicaps. Along with background, I am also trained in first-aid and CPR. Because I am a full time college student, I cant work many hours at the Elementary school, so I'm looking for a part-time babysitting job on the weekends in Jackson Tennessee.
