Hello! My name is Cristy! I'm 45 years old. I've had the opportunity to take care of my 98 year old Dementia uncle until he passed away. I would just sit by him and talk to him, try to make him remember me which he did in some way, make sure he was fed, took his medications on time, and just made sure he was comfortable and happy. I feel that everyone needs a companion. To be there for them no matter what age you are they need to be loved and care for. Even if I just have to sit and talk to them, or help them with food preparation. It breaks my heart for the ones that don't have any companion.
