Norma’s Bio
I have much experience working with Seniors in Assisted Livings, private care, Rehabilitation hospitals, and nursing homes. I have also cared for adults who are quadriplegics or have special needs in private care in their homes. I also have worked at a psychiatric facility as a certified nurse assistant in the city of Riverside. It was a lockdown facility and required much skill. I have also experienced working for a nursing registry as a CNA. I once held a job as an activity director for the Claremont Place, which is Assisted Living. I found out to be a very fulfilling position and enjoyed every minute of it! I am CPR and first aid certified. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish and I am learning ASL. I have a huge heart at a "WANT" to care for others! As far as my training, I received a vocational certificate as a medical surgical nurse assistant, after I had already passed the nurse assistant program. These two positions were done in order to fulfill my LVN prerequisites. I also have an AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences. I currently have been employed by the Fontana Unified School District for the past 12 years as and special education teacher aide.
