I have experience in Home Health and companion sitting with medication administration training as well. I have experience working at the Brookdale senior homes as well as their skilled nursing section.
With my time there I was not only a companion to those, but I gave showers, administered medicine and joined them in classes for art, exercise and games. I also cooked meals for them and even drove them off the facility for shopping or special events with family.
Depending on the situation.. it may not always be a pretty job, but it is always a rewarding job.
