I've always loved helping people whether it be taking care of a child or helping a resident in a nursing home, or helping someone in need of any age through community service. I am certified as a Patient Care Technician/Nurse Assistant and I'm CPR certified as well. I shadowed and did hands on work at St. David's South Austin Medical Center and a nursing home in my area.
I've achieved the things I have while still in high school because I hope to be a Registered Nurse or even an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the future. By doing so I would be able to help and take care of people every day and do what I love.
I'm good at what I do because I work well under pressure, but I'm not afraid to ask questions either. I love to learn new things and gain new skills and knowledge in anything I do. I have outstanding people skills and can get along with anyone of any age. I'm experienced in how to nurture and care for others as well as how to make them feel as comfortable and normal as possible no matter their condition.
I also have extensive experience with children because of volunteering at Vacation Bible Schools, elementary school activities, and other babysitting services.
