I worked as a service coordinator for seniors for 10 years. This position required knowledge of medical conditions, state and federal benefits, community supports, and agencies. Service coordination requires the ability to assess and problem solve on an individual basis to support seniors as they age in place at home. Additionally excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. I am passionate about helping people of all age groups, but especially children and seniors.
