I am a Certified Nurse Assistant, and I love to take care of other people, I also do housekeeping work. I had done house cleaning in Louisiana before I moved to Texas for an elderly lady named Mrs. Preis. Mrs. Preis was very strict about the background, so she didn't hire anybody that had a bad reputation. I had been referred to her by one of my friends that cleaned a church for one of Mrs. Preis friend. My job duties were to wash the dishes, clean the kitchen, mop, vacuum, clean the bathrooms, tub, and shower, iron her clothes, take dirty clothes and linen to the washer, put clean linen on the bed and take out the trash. I even swept her garage and climbed a latter inside and outside of her home to replace light bulbs. On certain days I would go with her to her cabin out on the lake to clean and dust the rooms, sweep, mop, clean the kitchen and bathrooms before her family arrived to stay there for family gatherings. Between 2013 - 2014 once I got a good reputation from her for doing a good job of everything she asks me I received calls from other people in the neighborhood asking me If I could come and clean for them. I would clean homes every week and had guaranteed hours and days. I also had two other jobs that were at night which I was a DWS (Direct Service Worker) also known as a private sitter. For those two jobs I did light housekeeping, cooked, transfer, bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, and much more. I can also bring my supplies or use the supplies at the homes if preferred. I moved to Texas in 2014 and started a career as a Certified Nurse Assistant, but I want to start my own business one day with things I am good at which is being a housekeeper and care companion. I am very detailed oriented, and I will not let anyone down. I love my job and what I can do to help others.
