I have been a cargiver for the past 3 years. Currently I'm a licensed phlebotomist and Medical Assistant graduate. So I'm looking for work in my field of study but, cargiving is something that will always continue for me. I have a family I'm working with now. This gentleman is older and energetic but is no longer able to carry on day to day activities on his own. During are time together, we talk as though we've known each other for years. I enjoy assisting people of all ages with day to day activites. Whether its from the time you wake up until going to bed at night. Even if your a night owl. Even though I'm coming into someones home, giving that person the respect and dignity they deserve so they feel like they are still in control of their own life is just part of my character. It takes a special person to be a caregiver.
