Vanessa’s Bio
Before I worked at my first job at 16 at Whataburger, I was the babysitter of the family. I watched family members between the ages 1-12. At the age of 18 I started working at Petco. About 8 months ago I became the Companion Animal Manager. I am over all of the fish, reptiles, small animals, and birds. I make sure they're taken care of, take them to the vet and medicate them if needed. For a few months as I worked as a manager, I decided to work over nights at an Assisted Living Facility. As a care taker I dressed, fed, cleaned, and socialized with the residents. I love to take care of animals and others! It is something that I genuinely enjoy.
