My name is Latifa Yard, I am a young and energetic lady who is also highly motivated and ambitious to learn new skills and gain wisdom from the elder generation while imparting the skills I have learnt in my 14years of education to the younger generation. I am strong believer in we rise by lifting others and I look for any opportunity to do so. I have years of hands-on experience caring for children and elderly family members, as this responsibility struck me from a very tender age as a result of being the first and only girl child in a house of boys and parents that were constantly traveling for work. I also have reliable transportation and can start immediately.

In my previous experience caring for my younger siblings and cousins (ages 1 to 12) more than 3 of them at a time, I was responsible for everything from meal prep and playtime to routines and emotional support. I also cared full-time for my grandmother who was sick a lot and crippled so I had to take care of her food, bath, medications and helping her to bed. So all this real life experience with my siblings and cousins as well as my grandma taught me how to be gentle, responsible, compassionate, patient, and dependable.
