I'm an independent,reliable,hard worker,fast learner,caring, loving and love working with elderly, disabled, mentally challenged, and special needs children. I have 15 yrs experience, CPR certified and CNA assting. Became interested while at my mother's bed side as she passed of pancreatic cancer year 1992. Experienced the challenges of my niece with special needs after being born with difficulties. Both my mother's parents passed of cancer and being actively involved in their care. Didn't have a relationship growing up with my father but, hearing that he was dying of cancer. I didn't hesitate to care for him up until he passed in 2015. Just to see a smile on a child's face, or passing by my elderly neighbor & saying "Good Morning, How are you? May I do anything for you?" And having an resident at a facility tell me,"as long as I see you, I know ill have good day". Makes ALL the difference.
