Hello, I decided to become a care companion after I saw how difficult it was to find one in comparison to a babysitter for children. My family needed help finding someone to take care of my grandfather who had Alzheimer's. That's when my mom and I decided to move to his home and take care of him ourselves. Since then, I have cared for two other families (a couple 75 and 81 years old and a single person at the age of 78).

I believe I'm good at what I do because I have patience. I try to put myself in the perspective of the other person when caring. I have seen the toll that mature age diseases such as Alzheimer's can take on a person and family.

I believe we all need a little help in our lives no matter what the age and I'm happy to provide that to the families that hire me.

I am happy to do housework, run errands, cook, and keep your loved ones entertained through walks, watching tv, and their favorite activities.
