Hi my name is LaTanya Lofton and I have been working in the medical field for 29 years Provided homebound patients with housekeeping, laundry services, shopping and personal errands, and preparing and serving meals following all FDA dietary requirements and nutritional standards. Responsibilities included bathing, dressing, and grooming including toileting. Assisted patients in the use of bed pans or commodes, measuring and recording vital signs, administering prescribed oral medications under written direction from physicians or directed by nurse and notating dosages in patient charts, and provided routine skin care (wounds, bed sores, etc.) Accountabilities included notifying nurse or supervisor of any changes or patients conditions and escorting clients to doctors’ offices or through ambulance services
