Caregiving is something in me. At age 10 my great aunt came to live with us. She had Dementia and needed fulltime care. Back then we were just doing what families do take care of their own. Me not knowing that helping my aunt bath, making sure she wasn't soiled,and turning her to make sure she doesn't get bed soars would be my career today.
I've worked with the elderly, adults with disabilities, and children with disabilities. At the young age of 16 who knew I would fall in love with my nephew who has severe Autism. He is the reason I started my childcare at age 22 for all children. Careguving is my passion and my world.
