I have 12 years of professional teaching experience as a Special Education teacher for children with mild to moderate disabilities including autism, Downs Syndrome, TBI and Intellectual Disabilities. I am also a mother to 3 children of my own: ages 15, 11 and 2.
I was awarded Special Education Teacher of the Year by the Pilots Club of Texas in 2018 and was also awarded District Special Education Teacher of the Year for the 2019/2020 school year in Goose Creek CISD. I am also certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade generalist and am English As a Second Language certified.
