In the past, I attended an Art Therapy Conference and completed an Independent Study in Art Therapy as part of my undergraduate degree at Southwest State Univ. ( Texas State Univ. ). I completed all my Special Education courses at Texas State University at the graduate level...including a graduate course in Autism.
I know basic sign language which can assist non- verbal individuals with their communication skills in coordination with a pictorial communication board.
