Jennifer’s Bio
I currently work as a caregiver in Denton, TX for a non-mobile, non-verbal gentleman with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. He is very high needs, and I help with tracheostomy care, tube feeding, positioning and lifting, catheter care, suctioning of oral secretions, medications through PEG tube, speech device use, activities of daily living, and, of course, companionship. I have been with him for a year. It gives me great pleasure and joy caring for him, and helping him with anything I can. I absolutely love caring for others, I have many varied skills, and I work well with people. I have also done care giving in the past, but it had been years since I've done it, until working with this gentleman.
