I’ve been working as a caregiver going on 6 years, I love being able to help other people, you learn to know the person and you grow to love them, not everyone has someone who can look after them and one day all of us are going to need help, it’s one of the best jobs anyone can have. The experiences I have are cleaning,cooking a little bit, changing diapers, bed ridden clients, someone who’s on oxygen, wheelchair/walker, transferring them on to the bed or toilets/chairs, feeding them, using a catheter, bed baths/showering, getting them dressed, working with medication, doing exercises with them. If there’s something I need to learn then I’m very good at catching on, I’m always open new experiences.
