I'm a 20 year old Care Giver. I currently work with At Home Senior Care, which is eccentially home health to the next level. The patients I provide care for require, every day cleaning, medication reminders, oxygen use, bathing and personal hygiene help, getting dressed, making meals, and taking them to run errands or simply go shopping. I've been with this company for roughly two months now and just looking for more pay. I've had roughly 2 years daycare experience, which I was the lead teacher and did the weekly ciriculum for toddlers. I also worked with infants when I was needed and with the after schoolers as well. So homework ranging from first to about fifth grade I helped with a lot. After daycare work, I became a personal nanny. I nannied for 3 children, ages two, three, and six for about four months. Pay wasn't compensating and that was my reason for parting ways. I brought them to school and picked them up from school every day. I fixed their breakfast and after school snack. I sat with them from 7am until 5:30pm Monday through Friday. The youngest child is who I mainly cared for throughout the day while the others were in school. I still kept up with the ciriculum we used in daycare, and a nap and snack schedule at home. And potty training was essential as well. Routine is key and I've learned that throughout watching so many different age groups. Being very attentive and thorough is my strong suit. I always make sure to retrace my steps to make sure everything has been taken care of to the correct standards. Taking care of other souls is something my heart has found comfort in and a true calling.
