Hello, I am Melissa. I began babysitting for family and friends as age 12. After graduating college with a degree in Communications, I moved home to assist my parents as my father went through successful cancer treatments. While living in Abilene, Tx, I began to work for an emergency shelter for children, aged 5-18, who were in CPS custody.Most recently, since moving to SATX, I worked for one year at ARC, and have fine turned my care giving skills for adults with intellectual disabilities. I currently work for Health and Human Services Commission, and am looking for part time, evening/weekend positions in care giving because I was to continue to provide care so I can provide socialization, interaction, and care for your family member, young or old, to allow you to run errands or enjoy some downtime.
