Hello my name is Nicole. I have always had a caring and nurturing personality. As a caregiver I am able to use my strengths to provide assistance to those who need help in thier daily activities. I have always enjoyed the company of the aging population as they are full of wisdom and knowledge. In my eyes it's not work it's the satisfaction of knowing I provide the best care to each individual. I pride myself on the ability to listen to each clients history and learn each individual personality to customize my care to each individual's needs. I have always found myself in some capacity as a caregiver my whole life. I feel my bachelor's in psychology has helped me be more understanding of the complex personality of my clients. I am more sympathetic of struggles the elderly population face due to the restriction and limitations that come with aging. I have been a paid caregiver for 7 years. I've worked with several clients as a private caregive. I also have experience with a homehealth agency. I have four years experience continuously with my first client and still check on her regularly. I care about my clients as I do my family. I pride myself in listening to my clients needs to assist them in the best way possible. I have experience with wound care, recovery from surgery,and individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's. My past due duties included: cooking, light housekeeping, shopping, running errands, home organizatiom, filing, computer work, transportation medicine administer, recovery from surgery, assisting in dressing, basic hygiene, pet care.
