After caregiving for my parents until their deaths, I realized how much I loved being able to take care of others. Just knowing that I am being of help and a compassionate person in someone’s life makes me happy. I currently work as a companion caregiver for an agency and adore the client I have been working with for the last 5 years. I help her with dishes, laundry, cooking, and putting out the garbage. I also pickup her groceries from the store every week. We have wonderful conversations about the places she has lived and her family. I love hearing about the past and all the wonderful stories she tells.

I am a good listener, hard worker, and a gentle spirit. I am willing to learn how to handle the home in the way that the client would like instead of inflicting my will.
