Hello, I'm Jordan
I am 52 years young, I am a mother to 3 wonderful grown children and a Mimi to 3 awesome grand babies.
I have 32 years of experience in child care from raising my own children,but also my grand babies for the last 10 years. I have cared for numerous other children throughout the years including special needs and can provide you with references.
I have always cared for an elderly person at one time or another beginning with my own grandmother who lived with us to my most recent position where I was a nighttime companion/caregiver to a beautiful 96 year young woman who was very spirited and had dementia.
Caring for an elderly person is very rewarding and heartbreaking at the same time. You get to glean from all their years of experience but then you have to let them go when it is time.Thats the hardest part for me.
I have also throughout the years house sat and cared for others pets while they were on vacation and can provide references.
I do have allergies to "some" cats and dogs, more to cats. Every animal is unique and so is their dander, some I am fine around and others I am not.
I can usually tell within minutes upon meeting if I'm going to have a reaction to their dander.
