Barbara’s Bio
I retired from a professional career to bring my mother home to live with my family. Medical needs were 24/7 in the beginning, but through daily efforts, speech, mobility to walking improved and we enjoyed life together for another 9 years. In order to have income and a flexible schedule during that time, I invested in rental properties and became a Ms Fix-It...proficient in fixing/remodeling just about everything that was required. Loved it.
My schedule is now free to take on more.
For Care Companion, my experience lies within my responsibilities with caring for my mother 24/7: Rx monitored, Breathing Treatments, Exercise as guided by the PT, Lots of conversation to improve speech, Detailed record keeping of all duties and observations, Medical Appts, Etc.
For General Assistance with Daily Life: Driving, Errands, Grocery Shopping, Home Projects, Cleaning, Fixing, Packing and Moving, Garage Sales ... whatever I can do to help you would be a pleasure.
Events: I have experience and serving pieces to create small and large events or celebrations. 200 place settings dinnerware, 200 lunch plates, centerpiece options, misc table cloths, etc, etc, etc. Love to decorate for holidays, wedding, anniversaries and any special occasion ... big or small.
