I currently work for Future Through Choices as a caregiver. I work swing shift and weekends. I am looking for a day-shift opportunity, where I can work from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday, as a caregiver, and wondered if my availability would be convenient for anyone.
I have training in toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, housekeeping, cooking, shopping, in-home and community activities, conversation in various topics and helping with medicine.
I have SOAR, CPR, and First Aid training. I also have a clean driving record and transport my clients in a large handicapped van.
In a past life I was a secondary science and social studies teacher and enjoyed working with people. I still enjoy sharing my talents of interacting with and talking to people. In a double past life, I ran a licensed daycare for 10 years and also enjoy working with younger children.
I have been a mother for 26 years and have one child who is mildly autistic. I have learned to be patient and understanding in situations that can be emotionally trying. I have learned to love unconditionally.
I can be strict enough to stand my ground and not let my client do anything dangerous, yet be loving enough to let him know I care about him. When my clients see me they hug me and tell me they love me. I love the relationships I have developed with them and would be happy to develop another relationship with your loved one as well. Please consider me as a caregiver in your home with your loved one.
