I am currently a licensed therapeutic recreational Technician that provides daily Activities to seniors at Holladay Healthcare. I also currently work at a therapeutic boarding school for girls at night as an overseer making sure the girls with disabilities and or psychological problems are looked after and cared for. I was a former CNA for the University of Utah hospital for 3 years and Garden Terrace Alzheimer's facility for two. my experiences include being CPR certified for Adults and infants, feeding, clothing, bathing and toileting patients, monitoring blood glucose levels for diabetics, taking temperatures, replacing and filling up feeding tubes . placing and taking out catheters, emptying and cleaning colostomy bags and urine caths. my achievements I have been employee of the month at Holladay Healthcare in 2014, was CNA of the Month and year in July 2010 at Garden Terrace and received rave reviews of my work ethic by patients and staff at the university of Utah Hospital. my license as a CNA has expired due to me becoming and working as a therapeutic recreation Technician but I still hold a passion for helping others as a CNA/ care companion.
