Married 30 yrs, I am a mother of 3 healthy, happy, thriving, accomplished adult children ages 21, 25 & 27 who are the joy of my life. With my youngest soon to graduate college, I am looking to use my parenting skills to serve another family. As a career, I was a commercial and residential property manager. I left my full time career in 1998 to care for my then 8 yr old son who was diagnosed with a brain tumor and then decided to invest my life in being an extraordinary at-home mom. I was the primary caregiver for my son for 6 yrs as well as for my own mother who lived with us for 15 yrs until her struggle ended with COPD. I cared for my father in his home until his passing from cancer. My family has been my training ground and I've had the pleasure of experiencing being their teacher, nurse, attorney, counselor, mentor, facilities manager, advisor, disciplinarian, activities director, travel planner, vision caster, seamstress, mediator, chef, homemaker, gardener, friend and spiritual guide. I have worked and volunteered in their schools both as an aide, a middle school special education aide, site council member, fundraiser, team mom, etc. I have tutored children & teens and coached countless others in college prep, resume prep, life skills, interviewing and career launch. I love to cook, read, travel, spend time with family and advocate for causes I believe in.
