Victoria’s Bio

I was trained as a Caregiver during my time working at Country Meadows Retirement community. The team I worked with was focused on rehabilitation and worked closely with both physical and occupational therapists to aid residents in maintaining their ability to complete their Activities of Daily living as independently as possible. My minor in Sports Medicine helped me to do well in walking residents through their exercises and explaining clearly the movements to them. I have worked with individuals with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and MS. I have worked frequently with oxygen, feeding tubes, port care, and all kinds of incontinence equipment. I truly have a love for the geriatric population and have great respect for them. Taking care of my great grandfather and my grandfather really instilled that passion in me.
