I am a 30 year old female, graduate of George Mason University, member of a large family, and enjoy being surrounded by a large number of people and pets. While I have no formal medical training as a caregiver, I am a kind and compassionate person who enjoys helping others in need. I spent a summer volunteering in Peru for children with severe disabilities, which I found truly rewarding. Both of my elderly grandparents required extensive care which we provided as a family in our home for several years. Additionally, I have had years of experience providing childcare as a babysitter to infants and children. I recently held a professional position for over 9 years in a busy pediatric office. One of the doctors (who can supply a reference) was nominated in the "Top Doctors" issue by the Washingtonian magazine. I am now starting my own business, which permits me time available to provide care to individuals.
