My name is Shauna I have 15 years of experience being a home health aide (caregiver). I have experience with patients that has dementia, autism, spinal injuries, and just need/want companionship. My mother is the reason for why I do what I do. As a little girl I used to go to work with her. When I would go to work with her and help I enjoyed it a lot so at that point I knew that was going to be my career. I love being the person that can help and put a smile on someone's face. I'm very patient, reliable, helpful, caring, and outgoing. I have my own transportation and don't mind using my vehicle for errands, doctor appointments, etc. I like to be able to work in a environment that doesn't feel like a job and where the family doesn't look at me as if I'm just there for a job I want to feel as if I am family as I want them to feel the same. I'd like to work Monday through Friday and don't mind working some weekends.
