Have cared for my sister while she suffered from cancer. Also had cared for my husband after a serious illness that required long term hospitalization. Although I have no schooling as a care person, I have over 3 years of being a caregiver to family members with serious ilnesses. They have both recovered and no longer needed my care 24 hours per day. Although the circumstances were sad, it taught me my strength and compassion to be caring and helpful. This is an ideal career move for me.
