My roles as a CNA
Provide assistance to professional staff
Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, hygiene, etc.)
Always maintain patient care comfort and safety
Reposition and assist in ambulation
Provide Post Mortem Care
Check and Record blood sugars (AC&HS)
Take and record vital signs
Report observations of the patient to RN or Charge Nurse
Setting up of meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake •
Feeding residents & serving nutritional supplements
