I love being a caregiver because I enjoy helping/taking care of others. Especially, the elderly. I enjoy building relationships with my clients and getting to hear their stories and a friend to talk to, whom has already been through pretty much, everything you are going through. Therefore, they may be able to offer some advice. Most, usually make you feel comfortable and "at home", as well... I have always, taken care of people, since early childhood, as I was raised by my grandparents and have always, enjoyed it because it makes me feel like I am making a difference and I am helping to make someone's life, a little easier for them.. I worked at Team Nurse, for a little over a year but they closed, permanently. I have also, worked for Public Partnerships LLC. (P.P.L), for about 2 1/2- 3 years. Unfortunately, once my clients passed, there were no other jobs in my area with the company. I still, keep in touch with former client's family members, even though I don't work for/with them, anymore. I monitored and recorded vitals, gave medication reminders, provided feeding and bathing assistance, bathroom assistance, cooking and feeding, transportation to and from stores or appointments, provided companionship, assisted with mobility, housekeeping, communicating with family members.
