Hi! My name is Gaby, and taking care of people comes naturally. I decided 5 kids wasn't enough so I adopted 3 more. They're all grown, so now I'm helping to raise 2 grandchildren. In addition to this experience, I have 10 years of professional experience - with children, including special needs children (Autism, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, etc) and with seniors, incl seniors with Alzheimers. I'm healthy and active; I'm a non-smoking US citizen and native English speaker. I have college degree. I live in Herndon and have my own transportation, and a clean driving record. I have CPR & 1st Aid training. I'm fine with pets - any kind, any size.

Gaby was so patient with our two very active and strong-willed kids. It isn't easy dealing with a hyperactive, sometimes cranky, flailing 4 year-old, but she didn't lose her temper. We never worried about the kids while they were in her care -she knows what to do! Ultimately, she just ended up with too much on her plate between her own kids and grandkids, but we loved having her for the time that we did! Hope to find someone with the same level of patience to fill her spot!

I can't say enough about Gaby. She is so wonderful with my children (2 and 4). She is an experienced mom of 8. She has seen it all and she knows how to deal with it all. I feel very blessed to have her as a caretaker of my children and you will too!

Gaby is an excellent babysitter! I am always at ease when I leave her at home with my toddler and she is great at taking care of my older child as well. Gaby is a warm, responsible babysitter with a wealth of experience. She was always on time and kept the kids busy and happy without relying on TV or video games. When my middle son had his tonsils removed she made herself available more than what we had agreed upon. She is very confident taking care of multiple children at a time. She watched two out of my three kids ( and once the neighbors child too). My two kids were 2 and 6 years old. They looked forward to Gaby coming over. She also offers to do light housework like sweeping or putting dishes away.

Gaby is a wonderful babysitter. She has taken care of my three children, ages 6, 4 and 2. They always look forward to having her here and are sad when she leaves. My two year old was anxious the first time she came, but Gaby took control of the situation and she settled down very quickly. She is always on time, keeps my six year old on task as he finishes his school work, plays ball or other games with the kids, will take them on walks, and gives me a report of how everything went when I return. We would highly recommend her.
