I have been an in home caregiver for the last 8 years. I have cared for people of all ages from infancy till mid nineties. All with different types of disabilities from club feet to dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s. I take care of the whole client and the family. From basic grooming, bathing, dressing, feeding, shopping, preparing meals running errands, driving and just keeping company. I truly enjoy helping people live their best lives until they pass on in most cases and give their families a break, peace of mind or just a little boost. I worked with a company several years ago before going out on my own for a while and had some basic training but most things I’ve learned as I go and as needed from experience with different people. I don’t believe taking care of an individual is the same with each person. I also help care for the family pets if they need.
