Hello, my name is Alayna! I am a college sophomore, and I am getting ready to receive my A.S. degree in Psychology. Part of the reason why I want to take care of people who have mental illnesses is because my mother suffers from depression and anxiety. In addition to becoming a clinical psychologist, I want to eventually form an organization that helps empower teenage girls and young women. I have often been told by my job supervisors that I am great at interacting with others and bringing positivity to the workplace. I want to become a companion to an individual with a mental illness to gain experience in caring for people with mental illness and to maintain a positive environment for the person in my care!
